Caster Semenya is a True Hero

The recent controversy surrounding gender testing for our prolific athlete Caster Semenya has created worldwide speculation. Like with all speculation it can either attract positive or negative reactions and there is always bound to be a lesson learnt by all.

Quite frankly I personally am distgusted with the IAAF's stance on the matter and I strongly feel that an apology needs to be made , firstly to Caster and then to South Africa. Caster on the other deserves every bit of praise and admiration for HER bravery and single mindedness which won her the 800m gold medal. I can't wait for this athlete to take the stage at the Olympic Games and win a few or more Gold Medals. What an example SHE has been to all South Africans and I can only envisage a positive outcome in S.A athletics due bto HER efforts. Obviously this saga has got you all talking and I cant wait to read your reactions.

  1. Hi Jerome, I feel that Caster must sue the IAAF after thier wrong findings. How can they humiliate her that much? It is so sad that from what she has been saying, she experienced it even in her own country.

  2. It is true that the colour of the skin is still and will continue to be the criteria by which we judge ourselves and others on this planet. This slavish mentality must be challenged vigorously wherever it rears its ugly head.
